Elephants are my favorite animal that you can't keep in your own house.

They're such intelligent creatures - they have a strong family unit, they can recognize their reflections, they have long-term memories, they enjoy music like we do, they hold funerals for their fallen loved ones, and so much more. But also, they are still hunted for their ivory. They’re still actively poached, leaving baby elephants orphaned.

That is where the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust steps in. They have, for years, rescued orphan elephants, raised them, and reintegrated them back into the wild. So successfully, in fact, that there have been over 50 new wild-born births to reintegrated herds! Their work is incredible, and is heavily documented on their social media, website, and emails. They’re also one of my favorite organizations.

As such, for every elephant commission I make, 10% of every order will be donated to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (in your name if you’d like!), where they are still actively rehabilitating elephants, every day, and setting them up for a future in the wild. They even allow for “digital adoptions” where you get monthly updates about an elephant/giraffe/rhino in their care, of your choosing.
